If you want to get leveled up to start selling you need to enter a challenge and try you best to get a photo nominated, this will automatically level you up to shooter and get you some exposure, then you just need to keep up the work.

Snapwire also has a smartphone app for you to always be ready to upload you shots.

Fiverr is a site where you can buy/sell services online for a minimum of 5$. You can sell any kind of service here. Just think of something someone would want to buy and sell it. 

How does it work?

All you need to do is create a gig (service you want to sell) and make it sparkle. Describe it as well as you can. See other offers and find out what you can do better than the others to get them to buy your services and not theirs.

After your gig is up you just need to wait to see if someone is willing to hire you. This is not an easy task. Some people have a big number of clients in a certain area. You would need to be impecable and be able to sell you gig very well.

EyeEm is another site where you can try and sell you photographs. This also has an app and you can also upload from your smartphone.

Just like any other site/app to sell photography, it isn't easy. You can rely just com a couple of photos.

Best way to attempt selling photos on EyeEm

Take thousands of pictures or diferent categories. Don't stick to the same theme. Vary in themes, styles and topics. When you upload you photos tag them well and add locations. The more you put out there the bigger the chance someone finds the photograph you have that they want.

Earn Writing on Mylot

Mylot is a site where you can earn by discussing anything. You create a discussion and wait for people to respond.

There is a catch... You don't earn with what you write.

So how do you earn on Mylot?

Your earning depends on others people comments. So if I post a discussion i will only gain from the comments i get. If i comment on someone elses discussion I will only gain if someone responds to my comment.

This is not easy to get income on because you depend on others. It is however a fun site to be on.

It hasn't been told how the earning system works. It is a slow process and minimum payout is 10$.

Foap is a smartphone app dedicated to try and help young amateur photographers to try selling their photographs online. You can get this app on Google Play for free and create a free account.

There are two ways to sell your photographs on Foap. Uploading your photos to your profile or entering missions.

How to earn:

1) Uploading your photos to your profile:

All photographs you want to uplaod on Foap must be on your mobile phone, there is no way to upload them from the site. Each photograph is sold for 10$ in which you only recieve 50% of each sale. The upside is each photo can be bought more than once. The more photos you upload with good quality, higher the chance someone will decide to buy one. One photograph will never do it. You must insist and keep on trying.

2) Missions

Every once in a while some big brands launch a mission. They describe on these missions the type of photos they are looking for and all you need to do is try and get that perfect shot of what they need. Each mission has a reward of 100$ or more for the winner. The photos selected to the mission can also be selected to go onto the brands sites for other purposes and be sold there. 

Selling photographs online is not an easy task. There are alot of photographers with the perfect shot. You just need to be lucky enough to have that one shot someone needs. If you decide you use this don't give up. At least think of it as a second Instagram account where you have a chance in selling a photo.
